"If you're considering a stay in Cabo, don't pass up Club Cabo as a consideration. It's a quick 5 mins. into town by cab, and the hosts, Martin & Irene, treat you like family. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning, and it is extremely quiet and peaceful." read our endorsements

Horse Riding
Cabo San Lucas
Baja California del Sur - Mexico

Riding a horse in the surf, on the beach, in the desert and the mountains of Cabo San Lucas. Horseback riding for all levels of ability is available at several stables in the Cabo San Lucas area. Guided tours on rented horses are offered at Rancho Collins, just a mile away from the Country Club next to Playa El Medano beach. Venture a little ways out of Cabo San Lucas to Km. 4 of Hwy 1 to find the Red Rose Riding Stables. This stable features private rides for all levels of riders on either Western or English saddles. Reservations are recommended for the mountain and beach trail rides.

The Cuadra San Francisco Equestrian Center is very popular and advanced reservations are advised. This equestrian center offers both desert trail rides and equestrian school. A one or two hour trip through the Arroyo San Carlos or Venada Blanco is a great way to experience the desert and its many mysteries.

You will see many quail, some coyotes, wild horses and rabbits. You will experience the awe of riding through narrow canyons and amazing rock formations. Long pants are recommended for riding, as well as sunscreen and a hat. You will definitely work up a thirst on the ride, bring a water bottle to carry with you.
